At the\u00a0Department of Pediatric Surgery, Atlas University Hospital<\/strong>, outpatient follow-up and treatment of all surgical problems related to the digestive system, urinary tract, and thoracic cavity other than the heart in children aged 0-14 are performed. All necessary initiatives are planned with awareness of the metabolism, physiological and psychological development of the baby and the child.<\/p>

Correction of neonatal anomalies known before or after birth is performed by the\u00a0pediatric surgery department<\/em>.<\/p>

  • Esophageal Atresia,<\/li>
  • Head and neck diseases,<\/li>
  • Lymph nodes of the neck,<\/li>
  • Obstructions at the gastric outlet and in the duodenum (antral web, pyloric stenosis, duodenal atresia),<\/li>
  • Small intestine, large intestine and breech obstruction (jejunal, ileal atresia, colonic atresia and analatresia),<\/li>
  • Openings of the anterior abdominal wall (omphalocele, gastroschisis),<\/li>
  • Intra-abdominal cysts of the newborn (duplication cysts, mesenteric and omental cyst),<\/li>
  • Diaphragmatic (separates the abdominal cavity from the chest) hernias, morgagni hernia on the front side of the chest,<\/li>

  • Urine leakage from the bladder to the kidneys (vesicoureteral reflux),<\/li>
