Mainly, intervention by using interventional procedures in the treatment of primary and metastatic cancers of the lung, esophagus, trachea, mediastinum, and lungs, as well as diseases such as mesothelioma, sarcoma, thoracic outlet syndrome, thymoma, benign diseases of organs in the lung cavity and malignant pleural effusions are among the particular areas of interest of Thoracic Surgery Departments.
