Anal pain is the discomfort experienced in and around the anus and rectum, which is the terminal part of the digestive system where feces are expelled. Along with anal pain, rectal bleeding is often observed. What Could be the Cause of Anal Pain?

Anal pain can be caused by various factors. Most of the symptoms are minor and can be quickly relieved with treatment. In rare cases, it may be a sign of a more serious condition such as anal cancer.
Common causes of anal pain include:

• Anal Abscess: An inflamed area caused by the blockage of anal glands.
• Anal Fistula: A small tunnel that forms between an abscess in the anal wall and the surrounding skin of the anal opening.
