What's Included in Our Trainings?
Physiology of Pregnancy and Changes in the Mother’s Body
Medically based content that explains the physiological, hormonal and anatomical changes that occur in the mother’s body during each trimester of pregnancy.
Recognition and Management of Risky Pregnancies
Signs of high-risk pregnancies (preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, risk of preterm birth, etc.) and clinical protocols to be followed in these cases.
Preparation for Birth and the Birth Process
Awareness of normal birth, epidural birth and cesarean section processes, methods of coping with labor pain, breathing and relaxation exercises.
Newborn Care and Breastfeeding Education
Baby bath, umbilical cord care, correct breastfeeding techniques, breast milk production and management of problems.
Psychosocial Support and Mental Health in Pregnancy
Methods of coping with issues such as depression, anxiety, fear of childbirth during pregnancy; referral to psychological counseling when necessary.
Nutrition and Exercise
Healthy weight gain during pregnancy, nutrition planning appropriate for each trimester, and safe exercise recommendations.
Parenting Skills and Spousal Support
Healthy adaptation of expectant parents to their new roles and the importance of spousal support in the postpartum period.

Research has shown that women who receive childbirth preparation training;

Atlas University Hospital Pregnancy School aims to provide not only knowledge but also strength, confidence and support to expectant parents.
Training Format and Duration:
Program Duration: 4 weeks (1 day per week / 4 sessions in total)
Process: Presentations, live applications, group work and individual consultancy
Location: Atlas University Hospital – Pregnancy School Education Hall
Participation Certificate: Participants are given a “Participation Certificate” at the end of the training.
Conditions of Participation
All expectant mothers and their partners can attend the training free of charge, starting from the 12th week of pregnancy .
