Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology is a specialty that deals with diagnosing and treating diseases caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi.
At Atlas University Hospital Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Department, follow-up and treatment of our outpatients are performed, and hospitalization decision is made if necessary. In addition, patients from other departments in inpatient treatment at our hospital are also monitored and treated in terms of infections. Tests are performed to detect disease-causing microorganisms in the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory, affiliated with our department.
In Our Clinical Microbiology Laboratory;
Bacteriology (bacteria),

• Serology (science that studies antibodies formed against microorganisms in the blood).
• Covid-19 Pcr, IgG / IgM antibody tests are performed.
Thus, the diagnosis of microbial diseases is made fastest, and appropriate drug treatments can be started in a shorter time.
